Confidentiality Policy
Caspian Industrial Construction LLC is committed to protecting the confidentiality of all information exchanged during its business activities and ensures that the obligations of company personnel regarding confidentiality are clearly communicated to them.
Employees must always be aware that the disclosure of such information may jeopardize the interests of the company and must consider its transfer or disclosure to third parties unacceptable.
Confidential information means any information that must not be disclosed. Such information may relate to technology, business or finance and includes trade secrets, business information and personal data.
Examples of Confidential Information
Confidential information may include:
- Discoveries, inventions and development principles;
- Formulas, plans, ideas and accounts;
- Data, reports and project documentation;
- Correspondence and customer information;
- Lists, files and internal decisions;
- Personal information about employees;
- Strategies, technical drawings and recommendations;
- Designs, policies and procedures;
- Budgetary and financial information in any form, including physical, electronic or electromagnetic form.
Depending on the nature of the information disclosed, the period for which it must remain confidential may vary. Certain information may need to remain confidential even after the relevant document is no longer in force.
Exceptions
The Confidentiality Policy shall not be considered violated in the following circumstances:
- Information that is publicly available or becomes known to the public through a source other than a breach of a confidentiality agreement or another confidentiality obligation;
- Information independently developed or obtained by the other party;
- Information already possessed by the other party before its disclosure;
- Information lawfully obtained from a third party;
- Information that one party has authorized the other party to disclose.
General Principles
- Caspian Industrial Construction LLC maintains appropriate control over employees who obtain information about individuals and organizations during the course of their work and activities.
- Employees undertake not to disclose personal information, financial information or any other information considered confidential to anyone other than their direct supervisor.
- Where Caspian Industrial Construction LLC is required by law to share information relating to a third party, the relevant parties must be informed that the information will be disclosed.
- The company maintains a dedicated server to ensure that confidential information is accessible only to authorized persons and remains inaccessible to others.
